Whimsical Charm

Lately, I’ve been seeing a large amount of charm necklaces on the fashion scene. Charm necklaces are popular because they allow you to tell a story. I’ve been wanting to create a charm necklace, but not the usual charm necklace. I am in love with the red and white mushrooms I’ve seen growing on our property and I love looking at them in art, too. So, I’m working on a unique, whimsical charm necklace that features one of my favorite themes from the woodland in fall.

I love working with metal pieces and layering them. I found some lacy metal pieces that will allow me to add a beautiful moth and also some beautiful charms along the bottom. I’m adding two connector pieces, so I can add three strands of sparkling beads that will flow around the neck, drawing your eye to my focal with charms.
